My CAT S62 only charges at certain angles. Port problem?
Almost certainly the USB-C port — the contacts have likely flexed or the port itself is loose at the board solder joints. We replace the port under a microscope and re-seal the gasket so your IP68 rating stays intact.
Do you preserve the IP68 waterproof rating after repair?
Yes — we re-seal the housing gasket properly after USB-C port replacement so the IP68 dust + water resistance is preserved. Industrial customers care about this.
My S62 Pro has the FLIR thermal camera — does port repair affect it?
No. Because we do board-level repair (not a board swap), your existing FLIR calibration is preserved. A board swap would require re-calibration.
How long does the repair take?
